Black & White vs Color Photo's

Black and white, or vibrant colors? There is no doubt that they both have their place in a wedding album, but which one is right for you, and your wedding day?
Well, there is really only one way to find out. Lets take a look at both, and see what each advantage and disadvantage there may be.

Back to wedding photographer...

Black and White Wedding Photos

When it comes to documenting emotional moments, black and white is the choice you make. It's simple really, the fewer colors your eyes need to process, the cleaner and easier it is for you to absorb.

Clean black and white photos will help you to focus on the features of a subject and bring the mood into focus, and is best used to capture important and intimate moments, such as the first dance.

Black and white photos have other advantages as well. They are great for hiding skin imperfections.

When to Use Color Film

Flowers, food, favors - everything you have taken months to carefully plan - can only be captured in color!

You will also want to make sure that your photographer uses color in your photographs as well as black and white. Mainly because these will more than likely be the photos you use to make your multiple prints out of.

One advantage to color film is that is doesn't need to be restricted to daylight photos, and can be very effective indoors and at night.

So, what should you do for your wedding? You can quite easily use the advantages of both color and black and white wedding photos. You may require an extra photographer to do this, or you may not. It is best to speak to your photographer about this, and tell him/her your thoughts and ideas.
