When To Get Together For Your Bridesmaids Tea
Usually held two or so days before the wedding date. The advantages of this are simple. It give you and your bridesmaids time to relax and unwind together after the months of planning and organizing, and it also makes good sense, especially if your bridesmaids, or some of them are from out of town.

Where To Have it
If you having a destination wedding, or if everyone is staying at the same hotel, then your choice of location is possibly very easy. If not, then, perhaps you could all gather at a favorite cafe or restaurant. Anywhere is really good, as long as you feel you will be able to relax and unwind together, and really enjoy your time together with your close friends.
Giving of the gifts
AS mentioned earlier, this is the time when you give your bridesmaids their gifts to thank them. When you give out the gifts, you will want to be sure to do it either individually as the meal goes on, or to perhaps stand up and give each gift to each recipient, and to say a few words.
If you feel that this is not really your style, but still want to thank each member individually, then hand written personal notes is probably your next best option.
