Do bridesmaids have to pay for their own dresses?
Yes, bridesmaids are generally required to pay for their own dress, and often their accessories as well, including shoes and jewelry. In some cases the bride may choose the bridesmaid dress herself, or she may just give you a guideline as to what she would prefer you to wear, but either way, you will be responsible to pay for it yourself.
Who pays for the bridal shower?
The usual case is that the person who hosts the party, pays for the party. It is also nopt considered to be good taste to ask your guests to contribute either.
Can you charge per head at a bachelorette party?
Unlike the shower, it is in fact alright for the maid of honor to ask the people attending the bachelorette party to chip in and lend a hand. It would be a good idea to ensure that everyone attending is aware of this before hand as well, just so that there isn't any confussion over the matter.
Who pays for bridesmaids' hair and makeup?
Usually if the bride wants her bridesmaids to have professional hair and makeup done, then she will fit the bill.
