It's True. Big, sparkling eyes always get attention. So, you want to be picture perfect on your wedding day, no doubt, so you will definitely want to read our eye do's and don'ts then.
Eye Do's
- If you really want to have perfect eyes, then you should think about hiring a professional makeup artist. It will make all the difference. Remember to take the time to try a few makeup artists, before you make your final choice though.
- If you are going to use eye drops to help take away the tired and read eye look, then you should use a brand you are familiar with, or at least try out the eye drops months in advance, in case there are any allergic reactions.
- To look your best on your wedding day, you should definitely get as much sleep as you can the night before your wedding.
- If you do have dark circles under your eyes, you can always apply a concealer.
- To avoid a shiny look, you must use a matte eye shadow, as they wont reflect light.
- If you are doing your own makeup, then be sure to blend your makeup correctly, and especially at the corners of your eyes, since cameras pick up visible makeup lines more.
- For light toned skin, you should opt to use a light matte shadow on your brow, and if your skin is dark, then a peach color would be best to bring out the most in your eyes.
- For the best results, you will want to define your shadows with a pencil or powder that matches your hair color.
- Wear waterproof mascara.

Eye Dont's
- The most important rule for fabulous eyes: don't get drunk the night before the wedding, as the final result will be baggy eyes
- If you want to look like a drag queen instead of a princess, then wear too much makeup.
- Don't try and change the color of your eyes with contact lenses, unless of course you wear contacts on a regular basis.
- Make sure that you do not use an under-eye concealer that's too light for your skin tone.
- Don't experiment with any eye products the last few days before your wedding.
- Don’t wear frosted, shiny or sparkly shadow as this will reflect camera flashes and other lighting.
- Don’t forget to finish your perfect eyes off by doing your eyebrows.
- Having said that, your wedding day is not the time to tweeze your brows.
- Don't wear false eyelashes. Don't.
