So you have decided that your dream wedding is to have a theme and to be a little different than other weddings, but haven't quite made a final decision on what you want your theme to be. If you are looking for a few pointers to help you in the right direction, then look no further....
Think the Unexpected
If you are having a fall wedding, then your guests will possibly expect leaves and pinecones. Why not do something unexpected and surprise them with ferns and green apples, or perhaps something a little more sophisticated, like dusting the apples with shimmering gold sparkles, placed in copper-colored bowls as decor.
Color Palette
You can use magazines to help choose the colors for your wedding. Flip through some of your favorite home or decor magazines for color combinations that catch your eye.
Get Inspired by Nature
Nature has some of the most fantastic color ranges in it's spectrum, and if you are having a difficult time finding the right color theme for your wedding, then you can turn to nature. Almost any place, and any time of the year, and if you look closely enough, nature has brilliant colors, all there for you to pick from.
Give A Little More
If you do manage to cut your guest list, then you will have a little extra money from your budget for those little extra details. It could be the little things which make the difference, perhaps like the best champagne, rather than sparkling wine, boxes of chocolates rather than a single truffle, limo or horse cart, what ever means more to you.

Location, Location, Location
Remember that the space which is available to you is going to directly effect your designs, layout and possible the theme of your wedding. For example a beach or outdoor wedding may become breezy later, so you will want to ensure you plan for that. Wedding receptions on the beach are always great, but remember that it often gets cooler at night, etc. If you are having a shore wedding, don't forget the tides!
Stay Focused
Remember to keep to the theme you have chosen. Just because you hear of another good idea, doesn't mean you need to include it in your wedding.
