Fingerless Gloves
This type of glove is either short or long and is the perfect glove for the moment of exchanging rings.
Gauntlet Gloves
This type of glove is rather like a sleeve with no hand covering and only runs from the elbow to the wrist and also perfect for exchanging rings.
Short Gloves
This type of glove is often referred to as the “one button glove”. It is a short glove that ends within 2 inches of the wrist. It looks best worn with long sleeves and is most appropriate for an informal or semi-formal event.
Elbow Gloves
This type of glove ends either just below or just above the elbow with between six and ten buttons, depending on the length of the arm.

Opera Gloves
This type of glove extends all the way to the upper part of the bicep and has up to sixteen buttons. It is the most formal of all the gloves and is best worn with a sleeveless or strapless gown.
Now that you have an idea of the different types of gloves, you should choose one that is in the same fabric as your gown, it should also follow the same design as your gown.
