• Make wedding planning decisions with your bride.

• Choose the bestman, groomsmen and ushers.

• Arrange the wedding license.

• Discuss the style of the mens outfits with your bride and arrange to have outfits made, bought or hired.

• Organize the mens buttonholes and possibly corsages for the mothers.

• Plan the honeymoon and make reservations.

• Organize going-away clothes, if leaving for the honeymoon straight from reception.

• Arrange wedding transport.

• Arrange wedding night accommodation.

• Give a speech at the reception, remember to say how beautiful your bride looks and to toast the bridesmaids.

• Choose thank you gifts for the men in the wedding party.

• Send flowers or a gift to your bride on the big day.

• Ensure the bestman has cash to make payments on the day.
