Choosing your headpiece can change the entire mood of your wedding gown. Whether you want to be grown-up with a chic-chapeau, be bohemian in a flower garland or want to play princess in a sparkling tiara, the key is finding the right style which best suites you, so try on as many models as you can find.
Take along a photo of your gown or even a swatch of fabric, some accessories you would like to wear and even the bouquet you’d like to carry to get a better idea as to what will suite you best.
Tiara
A jewelled or beaded semi-circle worn on top of your head.
Crown
A full-circled piece adorned with jewels and gems worn on top of your head.
Half Crown
A bit small than a crown but bigger than a tiara, also adorned with jewels or gems.
Headband
A wide or narrow band that closely follows the shape of the head.
Tapered Headband
A half-circled band which is wider in the center and is tapered at the ends.
Backpiece
A comb at the back of the head to which a veil is attached, decorated with beads or flowers.

Juliet Cap
A small, snugly fitting cap that is decorated with semi-precious stones or pearls.
Bunwrap
A small band that encircles a bun or and updo.
Snood
A knitted net that encases the hair at the back of the head.
Comb
A this is held to the head with comb teeth for extra security which is adorned with beads or flowers. Can either be used for attaching a veil or just to finish off an upswept hairstyle.
Wreath
A also known as a garland, this is a very romantic and organic look. A full circle of flowers, twigs and foliage can be decorated with ribbon and jewels, usually just rests on top of the head.
