Wedding Favor Must haves

Having Wedding favors to give your guests has always been a must, but wasting your money on gifts which are throw-aways has not been and never will be on your list of things to do. This doesn’t mean that you have to spend hundreds of dollars on your favors either; there are many small and thoughtful gifts which you can give that your guests will love, without breaking your budget.

It could be a simply DIY wedding favors, a small pot plant, a personalized poem, if you have the time, or just simply exquisite chocolates.

Wedding Favors : Package deal
There are so many fabulous ways that you can package your favors. From pretty boxes and clear cellophane bags to silver canisters and how you choose to wrap your favors can make the difference.

If you are looking for ideas then you could look at Hanson Ellis for an excellent range of favors and DIY Favor packages, or even simply making a trip to your nearest fabric store for ribbons or an art store for other supplies.

How to Distribute Your Favors
What is the best way to distribute your tokens of appreciation? There are a number of different ways to go about doing this. You could use the traditional method of having them at each place setting on the napkin, underneath each chair.

Wedding Favors A Must Have

If your favors are a little larger, or you don’t want to have them on the table you can have a decorated box which has a sign saying “Thank You” or "Please Take One" for when your guests leave the reception. If you are worried that your guests may forget the box, or miss the box, then you may have your waiters pass them to your guests after dinner

The Cost of Favors
How much you spend on your favors depends on you, but you can easily get favors from as low as 99c. When you're buying your favors you should always remember that in most cases buying in bulk is usually cheaper than buying smaller amounts.

If you have chosen to give more expensive favors to your guests, then a good way to cut costs is to give one favor per couple, this should enable you to keep your costs down. Just remember to work your favors into your budget.
