Step By Step Wedding Planning Guide
After you announce your engagement
- Now would be the perfect time to sit down with you families and outline all the wedding plans. From themes, to colors Budget to Number of guests. Establish who pays for what.
- You will need to start looking at as many reception sites as you can so you can come to a decision, and make your booking as the earlier you book, the money you may save yourselves in the end.
- Discuss your wedding cake, and start getting quotes and costing's for the cake you have decided on.
- You should already be looking at where you are wanting to go for your honey moon. Once again booking well in advance will save you money.
Six Months to go to your Wedding
- Order your Wedding dress. Remember to leave enough time for any fitting adjustments that may need to be made
- Choose your Bides maids and groomsmen and place the orders for their outfits.
- Book hotel rooms or make arrangements for any guests that may have a long distance to travel after the wedding.
- Make the final arrangements for the DJ and Photographer for the wedding, as well as final arrangements and bookings for the catering and the reception.
- Honey moon arrangements should also be nearing finalization. Contact your travel agent to make deposit payments, or ticket purchases.
Four Months to go to your Wedding
- Purchase Wedding invitations and Thank you cards
- Contact Florists and make arrangements to get pricing's and ideas for the wedding and reception.
- Plan your Rehearsal Dinner.
- Book a limousine or other transportation. Once again the earlier you book the more money you may save yourself.
Three Months to go to your Wedding
- Send out your wedding invitations.
- Make sure all required documentation (religious, legal, medical) has been completed and sent in.
- Choose your wedding rings.
- Make final arrangements with the florist.
- Choose and purchase any wedding decoration that you are going to be needing, those not being taken care of by the florist or caterer
