Everybody wants to look their absolute best on their wedding day, and finding that look that is yours is the hard part. Most times it is so easy to be led a stray by all that we see around us. Once you have found the look that suits you, then we will show you just how easy it is to look perfect.
Choosing Your Look
O.K. So you are now getting married, and you need to find your look for your big day. Close your eyes for a minute, and what is it that you see? Is your wedding casual, elegant perhaps in a different country? This all plays a big factor when it comes to choosing your look.
Find Your Inspiration
The key to finding the perfect look for your wedding day is to find the right inspiration. You need to find out just exactly what it is about yourself which make your unique, and beautiful as well, before you start ripping bridal and beauty magazines apart.
Take a look at some pictures of yourself and see what it is that you like about yourself first. The next step is once again look at your wedding day, but this time you need to look at things such as: the time of year, location and the time of day that your wedding will be. A beach wedding will have different requirements for your look than an evening wedding in the middle of winter.
When you had your eyes closed, and you were thinking about your wedding day, what theme did choose? Was it elegant, romantic, formal or something else? This will have a big effect on what exactly the best look is, because your makeup and wedding gown are going to need to match your theme.

Finding Your Makeup Artist
We cant stress how important it is that you find the right makeup artist. A good makeup artist means the difference between looking good, and looking fantastic. When you go about choosing your makeup artist, you will want to be sure that you meet with a good variety of possible vendors, and that you site with each, look at their portfolio's and talk to them about your thoughts and idea's.
Once you have made your choice in makeup artists, you will want to set up a consult with them as soon as possible. This may cost anywhere from $25 to $100, and sometimes more. The consult is basically a trial run for your wedding day. The consult is there to give you an idea of what you will look like on your wedding day, and perhaps to experiment a little. Its not a full makeup run, and so the make up artist may do on side, and perhaps another option the other side.
The most important thing is that you know your own face the best, and your likes and dislikes are different to others. Don't feel that you are forced into something which you are not comfortable with.
